EFCC Nabs 3 Siblings for Suspected Internet Fraud in Makurdi

Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested three (3) brothers for suspected internet fraud.

According to EFCC, the three suspects identified as Abubakar Sadiq Adejoh, Mohammed Habib Adejoh and Solomon Adejoh were nabbed on Friday, May 17, 2024 along New Garage, Wadata in Makurdi.

The anti-corruption agency stated that the trio allegedly specialise in diverting customers’ funds from their accounts to a Point of Sale (POS) terminal for withdrawal.

EFCC revealed that items recovered from them include a car, six (6) mobile phones, one (1) laptop and cash totaling ₦3,562,750.00 (Three Million, Five Hundred and Sixty Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira).

It further said that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
